Continue toward Erfoud, a town known for its fossils, mineral workshops and proximity to the Sahara. Depending on the schedule, visit Rissani and explore its traditional market, an important commercial center for the surrounding desert communities. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Meet your camel caravan and ride across the golden sand dunes while enjoying the changing colors of the desert sunset.
